Hi there, I’m Olive! Thank you so much for taking the time to be here and learn more about me. I couldn’t be doing this without people like yourself. What a blessing! Without further a do let me introduce myself. I created Pony Up Photography little over a year ago with an intention to merge my love for connecting with people and telling their story. The first medium I found these two aspects in was writing, and my oh my have I come to love sharing a story through the lens.

At my core, I’m a free-spirited hippie who’s trying to experience this world as fully as I can. Whether that’s sleeping in the backseat of my Subaru, wandering the beaches of Indonesia, or hiking deep into Glacier’s backcountry. I move through life with a camera in one hand and my green notebook in the other, hoping to tread lightly and document the magic of the people I meet.

Which adds up for a girl who was raised between the coast of California and the rolling foothills of southwest Idaho. However I’m living in Bozeman, Montana now, studying English at MSU and growing Pony Up Studio one story, one human, one beautiful moment at a time.

In the meantime, you’ll find me on the ski hill, riding my bike, thrifting, reading (PLEASE send me a book recommendation), skirt twirling to some live music, or serving coffee at the local shop.
